About the product
A custom hydraulic adapter is a part manufactured from a sample or technical drawing for connection requirements that cannot be met with standard products. It is used to combine different thread standards (BSPP, BSPT, NPT, UNF/JIC, metric) in a single body, to fit an installation space that calls for an unusual length or angle, or to reproduce a no-longer-available fitting on older or imported equipment.
It is frequently needed for defense and aviation test equipment, overhauls of ship steering systems, maintenance of rolling mill and board machines, and special port connections in chemical plants. Thread profiles, sealing cones and wrench flats are machined on CNC machines to the tolerances on the technical drawing.
- At the inquiry stage, the sample or dimensioned drawing, material requirement, quantity and operating conditions (pressure, temperature, fluid) are collected.
- The thread standard, sealing type and critical dimensions are confirmed in writing before production.
- Series production begins after first article evaluation and dimensional inspection.
Lead time: Custom-size and project manufacturing is scheduled within an average of 10-20 business days after technical approval. Threads and port faces are protected with protective caps for shipping.

Yes. The thread standard, critical diameters, sealing surface and installation dimensions are checked on the sample part and manufacturability is assessed. Production is scheduled once the critical dimensions have been confirmed in writing, and first article approval is obtained before series production.
What information should I send for a custom adapter quote?
A sample or dimensioned drawing, the thread standard and size of each end, the sealing type (cone, seal or O-ring), the material requirement (AISI 316 / 316L), the quantity, and the working pressure, temperature and fluid are sufficient. Photos and caliper measurements can also be used for an initial assessment.
