About the product

A twin ferrule union elbow is an instrumentation fitting that joins two tubes at a right angle. Each end has a nut, a front ferrule and a back ferrule; sealing and tube grip work on the same principle as the union. Male-threaded versions (NPT or BSP on the port end) allow the tube to exit directly from an equipment port at a 90° angle.

It is used in hydraulic control panels, around transmitter manifolds, in sampling lines in cramped cabinets, and in the measurement systems of chemical and food plants and offshore platforms.

Where tube bending is possible, bent tube reduces the number of connections; the elbow should be preferred where a bend radius will not fit.
Tube OD and fitting size (inch / metric) must match exactly.
Verify the thread standard (NPT, BSPT, BSPP) on the port end.

Installation note: Push the tube in until it bottoms against the shoulder in the body at both ends; a tube inserted at an angle or not fully inserted prevents the ferrules from seating correctly.
