About the product

A quick disconnect coupling consists of a male and a female half and allows a hose or tube line to be connected and disconnected without tools. The check valve mechanism in each half closes the line at the moment of disconnection, limiting fluid loss. A stainless steel body is more resistant to corrosion than plated steel couplings in marine environments and washdown areas.

It is used on hydraulic test benches, at maintenance and filling points, on portable hydraulic equipment, on hose lines that are frequently connected and disconnected on ship decks and offshore platforms, in aviation ground support equipment (GSE), in maintenance units for defense vehicles, and at transfer points in chemical plants.

Working pressure, flow rate and connection thread (BSP) should be evaluated together during selection.
Where leakage and air inclusion at disconnection are critical, flat-face types should be preferred.
Coupling halves from different manufacturers may look similar yet not be interchangeable; the match must be verified.

Installation note: Connect and disconnect only with the line depressurized. Protect the coupling ends with dust caps when not in use.
